Doing Business with LWI
Collaborative Research Program Grants On March 24, 2010, LWI published its most recent Request for Proposals (RFP) for Fiscal Year 2010 under its Collaborative Research Program. The RFP is intended to solicit proposals for research related to certain topic areas derived through a cooperative relationship between LWI, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory/Human Research and Engineering Directorate (ARL-HRED), the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE), and other military organizations. LWI is offering funding for projects proposals that are judged most likely to lead to advanced capabilities in the fields of force protection, military law enforcement, military engineering, chemical-biological defense and training, explosive hazard detection, and non-lethal weapons. Projects will begin in 2010 and will continue through September 30, 2011. The funds for these projects are provided to LWI by ARL under the provisions of Cooperative Agreement # W911NF-07-2-0062.
